Takuya Sekiguchi, Research Scientist and Mihoko Otake, Team Leader of the Cognitive Behavioral Assistive Technology Team at RIKEN AIP have published a research paper entitled Types of social networks and starting leisure activities in later life in PLOS ONE published by Public Library of Science, a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
This paper extracted latent patterns of social relationships of older adults having no hobby and examined which patterns increased the likelihood of their starting hobby activities three years later.
