The paper entitled "Towards Representation of Daily Living Activities by Reusing ICF Categories," co-authored by Satoshi Nishimura (AIST) and Ken Fukuda (AIST),
was received the Best Paper Award of the 7th International Conference on Human Aspects of IT for the Aged Population, one of HCI International 2021 (HCII2021) Affiliated Conferences.
The paper proposes a method to construct an ontology to represent daily living activities as a common vocabulary for simulating dangerous activities and recognizing situations in videos.
