The RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP) and East Japan Railway Company (hereinafter "JR East") have developed an AI Deep Learning Model (DLM). JR East and Japan Railway Track Consultants Co., Ltd. will utilize the developed DLM to apply AI to railway facility monitoring equipment, allowing them to identify faulty areas in the railway infrastructure and promote more advanced railway facility inspections.
