In the need to avoid human-to-human contact due to the effects of viruses, we analyze and demonstrate the possibility of using robots to "mediate" tasks that are necessary for economic activities so that humans and humans can maintain social distancing. Specific examples include the supply of parts and receiving of packages for assembly workers in factories, and the delivery and display of products in logistics and retail stores.
