A research group led by Postdoctoral Researcher Kenichiro Ando, Visiting Scientist Yusuke Kurose, and Team Director Tatsuya Harada of the Machine Intelligence for Medical Engineering Team at RIKEN AIP, who are also affiliated with the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, has developed an open medical multimodal model specialized for the Japanese language with 14.2 billion parameters.
